Military Veterans, First Responders, and those who have experienced ongoing trauma in their lives, have something in common. They all are accustomed to dealing with and living in chaos.
Today’s guest on The Morning Formation Podcast is Matt Stack. Matt explains how these people will oftentimes create chaos in their peaceful civilian lives, just to feel normal. Unfortunately, this chaos can end up hurting themselves and those they care about.
KP’s guest, Matt Stack, is a Marine Corps Veteran, an app creator for adventure gear rentals, and an author.
In the interview, Matt shares that he and his wife recently launched an outdoor gear rental app called Gobe. Matt is not only an app creator, but he is a self-published author. Matt talks about his book, Killing Chaos: How Veterans Can Win The War They Didn't Even Know They Were Fighting and what motivated him to write it. Matt explains that Veterans are accustomed to chaotic situations due to their military training and they will subconsciously sabotage their lives in the civilian world in order to feel “normal.” He wants Veterans to know that they are not alone and that it is possible to have a good life, minus the chaos.
