Think you understand Post Traumatic Stress Disorder aka PTSD? I have some concepts about PTSD that you might not have taken into consideration before, in dealing with PTSD and the military. June is PTSD Awareness Month and with everything going on in the world, I want to take some time to acknowledge how PTSD is a silent killer that affects both civilians and military veterans. From the perspective of a former junior officer having served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, my goal is to shed more light of understanding and support for PTSD.
